Whenever i switch on my Ibookg4 poweer button, after few seconds in the display i get an message as
" you need to restart your computer,to do this press the power button for long time or press the restart button"
If you still have your hardware test CD, try to boot your machine with it. If it checks out fine then boot of the OS X install disk and try to repair permissions on your hard disk. Hopefully that should fix your problem if not you could try archive and install.
