Ok, i have a really old clamshell iBook. I was using it today and all of a sudden it shut off. The thing that confuses me, is the battery indicator said that there was still 45 minutes left on the battery......
Also, there was some sort of yellow light that started blinking(below the screen and apple logo, right above the hinge).
Is it the battery?

How old is your battery? Sometimes older batteries give false readings. Also, what percentage reading did it give you before it shut down.

This is pretty common with bad batteries. If it isn't old you can try resetting the PRAM. Also make sure your OS is up to date.
