Just recently when my macbook gets fully charged it the icon in the upper right corner changes from (Charged) to (Calculating...) over and over and the light on my charger flashes from orange to green over and over also. Then my fan starts going insane.. As if I was watching a movie while downloading a bunch of files.... anyone else have this experience?

im going to bump this just because its still puzzling me... i've reset the PRAM and even the power managment unit... i dont know what the hell is going on.

Is this a new unit? There are known battery issue on the earlier models.

The problem is back. It stopped for a while... is there a recall on the battery? My year is about to end for AppleCare and I really dont have the $$$ right now to extend it. If I just show up to the apple store w/o an appointment will they still help?
