Hi,
Windows guy because of gaming. Looking to switch over to Mac products for video production work. Can someone tell me if a new MacBook Pro will run Final Cut Studio with no lag or errors? Or, would I need a desktop Mac for that?
Thanks in advance

Yes, it will. However, you may want to get the 256MB graphics card if you are going to be using Color.

You should definitely upgrade the graphics card, but it will work either way.

Whew, that's good to know. I'm currently running Final Cut 5 and am planning on upgrading to Studio. The only problem is my laptop is the new SR MBP 2.2 with the 128 VRAM and an upgrade to 4 gigs of RAM.
I think there might be some slow down...time to pick up a Mac Pro
