Hey,
Well I was going through my library's application support clearing up my old application's folders on my MBP. And I deleted something called "Screen Capture" or something along those lines. I assumed it was to do with an application I had downloaded a while ago. Now whenever I take a screenshot my computer freezes up for 5-10 seconds and the screenshot appears on my desktop. it used to be instantaneous.

So I wanna ask you to check your Library/Application support (On both the main drive and the account library) to see if you have anything like that to see if I messed up.

Also, I have a few other problems with my MBP:

1. Expose can sometimes be DEAD slow. I click it and it lags.
2. Sometimes when I activate Expose it does a different command then I told it to do. And only fixes when I do the command it's doing "by accident".
3. Wireless strength is SO weak when I'm even 10 meters away. Also it disconnect me frequently. When I'm connected to AC it seems to be better.

Thanks

I'd boot from the restore disc and run Disk Utility, and then run the hardware diagnostics disc.

I would also repair permissions.

I don't have a "Screen Capture" directory in either ~/Library/Application Support, /Library/Application Support or /System/Library/.

I doubt that deleting that was the source of your problems.

If I boot from my restore disc do I lose anything? How do I boot from it? Enter disc, restart and hold down... C?

Also what hardware diagnostics disc?

And I fixed permissions, nothing to fix.

Thanks guys
