Hello there,

i recently received a new MBP 2.4ghz SR.. however i have started to notice that is not waking up after hibernation when the battery has been completely drained. When I close the lid for the night and the battery has little charge, the next morning it won't wake up. Pressing the power button with the mains connected does nothing. It does this for up to half an hour until suddenly it powers up and comes out of hibernation by restoring the previous session. Is this normal?

so it's not waking up after your battery is completely drained? of course it's not...?

I have the mains power connected when I'm switching it on after it has been drained

Do you have main power connected when you close the lid for the night and with little power left?
