Hello Everyone,

Has anyone installed Windows XP on a new MacBook Pro 17" (Santa Rosa) yet?

Can someone tell me the device name listed in Device Manager for the Network Controller and Audio device?

I would think if you downloaded the current version of bootcamp, it will provide all of the device drivers that you need.

I'm running Windows XP 64. The automatic Bootcamp driver disc doesn't work under XP 64-bit. So, I need to install the drivers manaually.

Everything is working correctly but having trouble with these last two devices. If I knew the device name then finding the drivers will be much easier.

I'm pretty sure the audio device is a SigmaTel. I'm not sure if the Wireless card is an Atheros or Marvell.

The device manager from a regular Windows install would tell the device name. I guess I could do a regular Windows install and write down the device name. But I'm so close and would hate to start all over.
