Looking for a sleeve/case for my MB that will provide protection at home and also in a laptop backpack.
I've read the MB 13 case thread (all 12 pages...eek!)

The sleeves/cases that showed up the most or best reviews were:

Bitolithic
Foof
ZeroShock
Waterfield
STM Glove

For those who have experience with one of the above, please tell me why I should by one or the other specifically.

Thanks

I personally love the waterfield sleeve. Have used one with each of my laptops, and have given them as gifts (that were greatly apreciated, I might add). Construction is superb, quality is great, customization is available, customer service cannot be beat. They have my vote hands down!

Good luck!

MacBook Sleeve By AppleSac. Get Your Slick MacBook Sleeve Here

Very stylish, or atleast in my opinion. Perhaps not the best protection yet is very adequate. For a student(like me) I feel it is just right. I typically carry a book bag or back pack so I only needed something to protect my MacBook itself. The price is very excellent also!

I have to put my props out to Waterfield. I bought my DS lite case from them first. Their products are so high in quality and their customer service surprisingly helpful. When I ordered my Macbook I got a Vertigo bag from them. Then emailed their customer service asking to cancel the order so I could add on an iPod nano case and Wallet from them, and got a response back within only a few hours! They went ahead and asked what color I wanted and textile and added it for me. Flat rate shipping of $7 no matter how large the order. Always seems to arrive within 3 days too! I got it the day before I got my Macbook in the mail and they threw in a free shoulder strap pad! I mean... $10 but still so nice.

Now I'm sort of regretting not buying a sleeve for my Macbook as the vertigo bag has room for other things... I feel I at least need a folder or magazine separating the bottom of my macbook with the rest of the stuff I put in the bag that doesn't fit in the pockets, but otherwise I have the top part facing the other side of the inner bag. Do I have anything to worry about here? The bag is sturdy and thick with a solid bottom.

i know it wasn't on your list, but dude, my marware sportfolio case is amazing!!!! i love this thing so much. fits perfectly in my backpack, which is great cause i cycle across campus a lot, and the neoprene is nice and thick to protect the body. the zipper is also lined so it won't scratch the mb case. overall, it was a fantastic buy, plus they've got a protection pack for i think $20 which includes a keyboard cover and an adhesive wrist pad. check out marware, i don't think you'll be disappointed.

my blog: relentless.
