I just recently purchased a macbook.
To my surprise, none of my microphones work, yet all of my headsets work.
It was explained to me that it was different, and I should buy a USB mic instead.
Problem is, I already bought a mic that isn't USB.
My mic port isn't defective, and the built in mic works perfectly.
Can someone explain why it is so different, and where I could possibly buy a mic that works with a mac?
I thought all PC/Mac mic ports were the same, but I was extremely wrong.
Cliffs: All my mic's work with my PC, but none of them do with my macbook. Why is this, and where can I buy a good mic for my macbook for recording lectures and so on?
