800 MHz TiBook Airport Only Does WPA...

I'm having a problem with a student's laptop. His TiBook's Airport card will only give him WPA as his security protocol. Even when I manually added the password and protocol into Keychain Access, it would still revert it self back to WPA and error out.

Any ideas? I find it hard to believe that the TiBook is only capable of WPA.

WPA as opposed to...? If you're talking about WPA2, the answer is no. Remember, WPA2 came out well after the original Airport Card was designed.
