Does anyone know when the santa rosa along with the g965 graphics chip will be put in the macbook line? Also, does anybody know or have speculation if they might put in the high end g965 or the lower end one?
Thanks

The MacBook is unlikely to ever go Santa Rosa; Apple seems very content with the non-Intel wifi chipsets.
The last update to the MacBook, shortly after Crestline (965GM) was released but electing not to use it, was so meager that I think we'll see another more significant upgrade soon. But it's impossible to say for sure; they could wait 9 months.

I have a feeling that Apple is going to differentiate the MacBook from the MacBook Pro by a chip generation. If Intel produces a new or very upgraded chip about every six months, I would expect that when Penryn comes out Apple will put that in the Pro model, taking its sweet time to do it. Only then will the MacBook get the Crestline chip.
