What is the biggest size of external monitor that you can hook up to the MacBook? I never actually read if there is a maximum size but I'm sure there is.

i don't remember but i have a 23" Apple Cinema Display, that works just fine with it.

There's no limit on inches. Go with the 110" plasma if you want.

The resolution is limited to 1920x1200, which is commonly found on 23/24/27" LCDs designed for computers.
