I have a powerbook g4 15 inch computer. I have fixed it three times in the last 2 years of my ownership. I just got the computer back from being fixed for the third time about 2 weeks ago. I just moved into my new apartment at school, so I had to shut my computer down. When I tried to turn it back on it seemed to powerup, but the screen stayed black and it made a very loud beep noise three times, and it looks like it is asleep and trying to wake up. I have tried many times to shut my computer down and turn it back on, but the same thing happens every time. Is there something I can do to fix it??
That thing sounds good as dead... By the time you fix it more, you'll probably have spent more money than it takes to get a new one. Just get a new MBP.

If the repair in the last 2 weeks was similar to the problem you have now, then there probably was a warranty on the repair. I would check that first. Do you have applecare?
