I'm starting to think more about upgrading my iBook to a MacBook and trying to figure out how much it'll cost me in the end. I'm going to try to sell the iBook locally but need know what it's estimated value is.

1.2Ghz iBook G4
1.25GB RAM
120GB Hard drive
12" Screen
Combo Drive
No AppleCare
Two apple power adapters
Tiger

Thoughts?

Thanks.

As with any commodity, your iBook is worth whatever consumers are willing to pay. For reference, iBooks in good condition are fetching $300 - $400 on eBay right now.

As galenea said, if in good condition I'd go for $400-$500 (how much I would pay)
Signature depreciated.

Have you poked around eBay and Craig's List to see what comparable machines are selling for?

I paid $800 for mine. 12", 1.33Ghz, 120GB and 1.5GB. Bought from friend 6-9 months ago (can't remember exactly). Was worth it as I know he upgraded the components and I know the quality of his work.

$4-500 sounds right.

Luck!
