I JUST received my 2.4MBP and every 10 seconds or so, my mouse cursor will stop moving for a second, then jump ahead to where it should be, almost as if OSX is stuttering. I tried it with an external mouse and it does the same thing. What could be causing this problem. The system is completely default. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

edit: i just noticed that its not isolated to the cursor, but happens when im typing or watching videos as well.

Have you got airport turned on but not using it? Try turning it off.
This issue sounds familiar to me, check activity monitor to look for any processes using large amounts of CPU cycles or RAM.

Yea that must have been it. Airport wasn't connecting to my network with WEP enabled so it was on just not connected. Now that I have WEP off, I'm able to connect and the stuttering stopped. Thanks for your help! Now its just time to get the screen replaced (discoloration issues)

Glad that worked.
As for having to turn WEP off, turn it back on and then put a $ sign in front of your passphrase.
