Hey All,
I have a 1st gen 17" MBP that ishaving the screen replaced. (dark spots) I have always used a cloth keyboard/screen protector to keep the screen from getting scratched but after cleaning my original screen, there is still a keyboard impression...so I was browsing for a better protector so this new screen stays pristine. Anyone have one they swear by? I will say that I carry this MBP in a backpack on a bike and so there is probably some pressure on the lid. The protector I was using covered only the keys and I'm thinking I want one that is a little thicker and covers the whole screen. I'm determined to keep this new screen perfect!
I'm sure this has been covered before, but new ones come out so often it's hard to know which one. Any reviews appreciated.

Heh, I remember when Apple came out and said that 'personal hygiene' issues contributed to those keyboard marks.

I used a PowerSupport USA screen protector for my PowerBook 12" and it was perfect.

I use a keyboard cover called "The Slip" made by Crumpler. It cover a lot more than just the keyboard and can be used to wipe your display clean also. I also use it as a mousepad when I'm on the go or in the library researching literature.

NuShield clear, screen protectors provide long-lasting protection for your Apple display

I'm thinking about getting that for my Macbook Pro. Not sure on the reviews though.

I've been using the clothe that came with my macbook and I haven't run into any problems with it thus far.
