I am about to buy a mac laptop for my daughter adn she is interested in getting this software program that she saw on a friends mac and I cant seem to locate it.
It is a software program in which the camera of the laptop takes pictures and distorts the images so your face looks strange. (really long, really short, just distorted.) Does anyone have any idea what program this might be. Thanks so much for any help.

As Simon says -hum, that sounds like Die Hard 3- is Photo Booth, every Mac with a built in iSight camera (laptops and iMac) come with it, since there is no need to redundancy I am only pointing you to Apple's website where you can see it…
