Hello,
I am humbly asking for your help. Can you help?

I just bought my friend's G4, upgrading from a G3. Once I transfered over my MP3s and personal files I shut down the computer and lost all of my music, the music he left in iTunes, and my personal files. I had lots of trouble consolidating the library and transfering over the music files, but not the word docs and such. I can login just fine, but the previous settings and data is gone, including Mac's version of Microsoft Windows.

Can you tell me of a way to retrieve that information? Is this some type of start-up confusion?

Any info would be great. Thanks!

DL

You probably need a program like filesalvage.
