Hey guys I just bought a 15 inch mbp at compusa the demo one. They were all sold out at the apple store (all 2 stores of the matt) but I decided to buy the floor model and got 200 off as same thing as at the apple store via student discount. The reason I went ahead and got this one because I checked for stuck or dead pixels and it was fine and no yellowing at the bottom of the screen and was an lg screen and looked very nice. Also knowing that its been on for 3 months and working fine gave me a better feeling. And I know the screen has been on for that long probably on for 10 hours a day for 7 days a week and for 3 months comes to somewhat of close to 1200 hours but its fine with me since its an led screen.

But the only thing about this is that the right side part where the plastic area is is a bit scratched or rather scraped. I was wondering if its possible to use sand paper to smooth it out on the right inner part of the monitor that thin grey lining where the screen bezzle is. It doesnt bother me really its barely noticable but i just want to ooth it out a bit. Any suggestions?
