Each time when I trying t abjust volume on my macbook it shows me this(see picture). it's not working at all. I can't mute it or do anyting else. How can I fix it?


BTW what can it be. maybe some program(viruse ) or something else? and is there any viruses on mac's at all?(some people says that there is.)

No, it's not a virus.
Your MacBook thinks you're using the digital audio output, plug in and unplug some headphones a few times to see if it resolves itself.

I think there could be a recall or something on this issue, it seems pretty rife to me. Faulty audio jacks perhaps?

No, the only OS X 'viruses' are proof of concept, none are in the wild.
