i need a new machine my ibook g4 is on it's last leg. but i don't wanna buy now and then pay 129 for leopard in 2 weeks. when is it due out? and will i be able to buy an upgrade for 9.99?

If you buy close enough to its release, then you might get it for $10. Otherwise you'd be stuck with the full price (unless you can get a fed gov or edu discount).

No one knows when it's coming in October. I haven't even seen any rumors about it. There are some threads that have theorized on questions like yours though.
