I have a titanium powerbook that I bought around 2001... I don't know the exact specs of it but anyway....
It's hardly ever been used. It will not turn on. I tried a new power cord- it doesn't work. The guys at the apple store said I should sell it for parts on ebay. Does anyone know what could be wrong? Is it fixable? Should I even try to fix it? If I do sell it what are the parts that I should sell?

There is a reset button among the ports on the back. Try that.
If it doesn't work, take the bottom case off, gently lift the optical drive and you should see a watch battery on a small PCB. This should be connected to the rest of the internals by a cable. Disconnect it and then see if you can boot.
