As part of this thread, I'm going to benchmark a 2.0 GHz MacBook C2D with Tiger then Leopard. I did several consecutive runs to get an average, and got VERY different results between runs two and three.

=====

Runs 1 and 2 were the same, runs 3 and 4 were the same.

Everything seems pretty consistent, except for the "User Interface" score; it took a tremendous hit. Runs 1 through 4 were all taken consecutively; do a run, save the results, do the next run, etc. No other apps were running at the time.

Ideas?

Xbench is poo.

Run a benchmark relevant to your computer usage.

The results say more about Xbench than about your MB. Since you're interested in the latter rather than in the former, you should try another benchmarking tool.
