I have a powerbook currently, which is great never gets scratches or anything, compare to people from work, they have ibook and it's all scratched from outside.

I am planning to get a macbook, does it scratch easy? I need to take my laptop basically everywhere. So....

Thank for your input.

The MacBooks are the same type of plastic as the iBooks (other than the black one, which will smudge) so they will get scratches.

my white one has a lot of scratches but nothing terrible. I take it everywhere with me and I keep it in a neoprene case when traveling.

No, but when they do scratch its visible. You're more worried about finger prints.
