I just sold my MacBook (black) 2ghz/2gb ram, 120gb hd for $1099. I bought it in Feb of this year, but have decided to buy a Pro to replace my desktop and the MacBook.

My question is, how did I do on the sale price? Reasonable? I've seen better and worse, but I've never sold a computer before. I tried to hit between the Mac2Sell price and some of the refurbs I saw before the latest upgrade to the line.

I'm asking because I'll probably do that next time too unless a bunch of people think I'm nuts or just lucky.

Any comments would be great. Thanks.

You did pretty well I think. That was pretty high for just a 2 GHz, so I would say you got the better end of the deal.

I just sold mine, exact same specs except with 3 GB RAM for $1200 Canadian which at today's exchange rate (1.0376) is $1245.12 USD. But keep in mind that in Canada, Apple hasn't adjusted the prices of new machines to the much lower exchange rate, hence the higher figure. It sounds like you got a good value for it. You could also check eBay's completed auctions for comparisons as well but I'd say you did well.
