Hey im normaly a pc user, but my missus has a MacBook 15" Aluminium 1GHz with 528MEG RAM.
For christmas I'm looking at getting her Leopard (since she wants it HEAPS)

Now this is why I am here! I honestly dont think her 1GHz 528meg RAM computer could handle it!

REQUIRMENTS:Mac computer with an Intel, PowerPC G5 or PowerPC G4 (867MHz or faster) processor

So im looking for all your advice.

Is it possible to get it for MacBook with ^ those specs?

Uh, yes, that computer exceeds the minimum requirements.

The MacBook is Apple's current line of consumer laptops. It replaced the iBook line. All MacBooks meet Leopard's minimum requirements; btw, the slowest MacBook was 1.83GHz, not 1GHz.

And there was never and still isn't a 15" aluminum MacBook. As far as I know. She must have a PowerBook.
I'm on MacNN forums, but no longer have a Mac...

Yeah, I was going to mention that too. Corsaro, you should double check to see what model your wife actually has because the specifications you've listed don't match any computer.

I really think he means PowerBook 15" 1GHZ 512MB RAM.
Leopard should run on that, not sure about the graphics capabilities though.

He could have found a 16MB SODIMM to have 528MB RAM... but I doubt it.
