The OP used a 13.3" matte screen from a Sony Vaio in his MacBook he ordered with a broken LCD. Turned out great and all the calibration, adjustments, Photo Booth flash etc. works without a hitch!

I found this LCD panel new in box on eBay for ~$200!

Pretty cheap DIY for a broken screen. My MacBook LCD looks like it has an air bubble, and my warranty is up now, so I will probably attempt this very soon once I have some extra cash (maybe around Christmas).
