Hi I apologize this is my first MAC I've always been a PC guy
but I bought a used good condition aluminum G4 Powerbook 667mhz
for $200 I intend to use it solely for a dj software app called Serato Scratch live
it says in the requirements that it must be a min 1gig MAC
but a few people told me if I max out the RAM it should work fine
I currently have 2 256 pc133 sdram sticks
I assume the max I can upgrade to is 1gig right?
so I'll need to get 2 512's or 1 gig stick?
I had a chance to get the gig Powerbook too but the screen was busted and the tech told me a new screen is $700????
so I went with the 667 any advice or help is much appreciated

I also owned serato but used it on an hp 1.4ghz pc and it dropped out a lot. So I'm thinking 667mhz might be to slow as well. Even with the the 1 gig of ram I had it was a no go. Ran like a champ on my macbook though. Good luck
