Have an old iBook that went to sleep and I can't wake it up. Any tricks? Thanks.

Have tried. Won't respond to anything including force quit. Power light just continues to pulse ... even unplugged. It won't die.

Hold the power button down for about 5 to 10 seconds to shut down. Then power back on. Or you could remove the battery.
