I need more ram, and pronto. I have no idea what ram to buy though. I have a 2005 Powerbook g4 with 256mb of ddr ram and a 1.67 ghz processor. What are my upgrade options like and what are the best places to get quality ram for an economical price? I'd like to get as much ram as possible so whatever my max capacity is will be my ideal.

i got Computer memory upgrades for Apple PowerBook G4 1.67GHz (17-inch Display) DDR2 Laptop/Notebook from Crucial.com

that is for my 17" powerbook g4 DDR2 model,

there is a memory finder which enables you to download a packaged file and scan your system for the memory you will need

hope this has been helpful

A PowerBook 15" 1.66GHz DDR is $99.99 for 1 GB while a DDR2 is only $27.99.
