A friend of mine been thinking to sell his pristine MBP and I've put my interest to it. He's offering me $1400 and the specs are 2.16, 2GB, 160GB and all legal softwares that he bought (CS3, windows XP2, etc). So do you think this is fair price? if so this would be a good xmas gift for me , thanks for any inputs!.

Are you being serious? A MBP, CS3, a copy of Windows, etc... all for $1400. Of course that's a good deal. How would it not be?

Yeah, I think the laptop itself is worth close to 1400 and so the software puts the value over the top.

I'd snarf it up.
