se.. my brother bought two of these... RAM memory that didnt work on his macbook... tha website says that i will work on a MBP which is mine.... so he wants to give it to me in exchange of the two RAM that my MBP (santa rosa 2.4) brought n itslef..(2 GB DDR2 RAM).. do u think these RAM tha he is giving to me WILL work on my MBP.?!?!

If it didn't work in his macbook it won't work in your macbook pro. Vice versa as well. They take the same RAM. BTW your link didnt work for me.

go to More than Memory Upgrades! Desktop Computers, Servers, Hardware and Tech Services: The Chip Merchant and look for macbook in the search field... there will be two DDR2 RAMS of 2 GBs each... 667 MHz... whichever of them works to show u my point..

Let me guess, your brother has a Core Duo (not Core 2 Duo) MacBook? That would explain why 2x2GB doesn't work; they're firmware crippled to only accept 2GB. If so, you can swap your 2x1 for his 2x2, and both of your machines will work. If not then there's probably something wrong with the RAM he bought.

nooo.. my brothers macbook is core 2 duo.... even when he bought it it came with a leopard installer dvd... but the two RAM memories will work on my MBP.. i dont want to take those and give my older ones to my brother.... besides he is here in houston and im in orlandooo..

Interesting, it should work in his computer. I'd return them.
