My buddies mother-in-law gave me her iBook 1.33 to repair. It doesn't recognize the trackpad or button on the iBook and has problems booting. When I hook up my iMacs mouse and boot everything is fine. So...............

ifixit does not have a tutorial for this model, before I take it apart does anyone have experience disassembling this model iBook?

Thanks! And Happy Holidays!!

Merry Christmas Eve!!

Thanks for the reply, I ended up taking the iBook apart, and it was a bad trackpad. Strange, for an iBook in this condition.

For the record(in case anyone else takes this model apart); UH, no, ifixit does NOT have a tutorial for the 12.1 1.33 mhz(late 2005) iBook. The link posted above is no good, it is for a 14 inch and many parts are different; top case, airport, and as far as I went four screws. Looks like ifxit may plan on adding the tutorial for this later as the 1.33 is there by the other 12 tutorials but is greyed out. Thanks for the help anyway, just want to clear up any confusion. Why can't these things be as easy to take apart as the wallstreet/lombard/pismo?!

Cheers, and Merry Christmas!!
