I need to get myself a monitor for my desk as the 13" screen is getting bothersome. I just want something decent, but cheap since I have a Sharp Aquos 26" LCD TV I output to for videos.

I am considering the LG 192ws 19" LCD. My only concern is that it is VGA only. How will the picture look using a DVI-VGA adapter? I would rather pay a bit more for DVI if it will be a noticable benefit.

What do you guys think?

Thanks!

VGA LCDs range from poop to alright; I'd avoid the potential hassle and just go with DVI. You can get a good name brand 19" widescreen DVI LCD for about $200USD, so I assume it's not much more CDN with the current exchange rate.

I just picked up an HP w2207 22" LCD It works like a charm. Picked it up with the adapter for $230 after tax.
