Afternoon all,
I have a G4 ibook that I want to use as the primary monitor for my G4 desktop. I am familiar with attaching a laptop as a secondary monitor, but have had no luck in figuring out how to use the laptop as the primary (and only) monitor. So basically, the laptop would serve as the monitor for the desktop.
Any ideas?

Sorry to jack the thread, but how do you use a laptop monitor as a secondary for a desktop?
I'm on MacNN forums, but no longer have a Mac...

I am not aware of any feasible way to do that - I'm sure that is not what the op meant to say.

The display of any laptop is pretty much locked into the built in video system of the machine. I don't know of any laptop that lets you use the display separately. Kind of an odd (and maybe not terribly economical) way to avoid buying an inexpensive LCD monitor...
