Hi,

In an attempt to stop myself going out and murdering my credit card because I can't yet have or afford a MacBook Air... I have decided to beef up my Powerbook...

Just been given a Gig of RAM from a 17" MacBook Pro. Does anyone know if this will work in my 17" G4 Powerbook?

I'm pretty sure it won't. Crucial has a good site that will tell you the specs you need.

You were right, tried the crucial website and and confirmed it's a no go. Fortunately found out it will go in my intel MacMini

FYI all the Intel Macs except for the Mac Pro/Xserve use the same memory.
