I bought the MBP "17 inch. Thanks for saving me money on the RAM and purchase of useless junk that seemed like a good idea at the time. I edit a lot with Final Cut Pro. At home I have a 50" Plasma and would like to know if there is a way to hook the MBP to it wirelessly so that I can edit using the big screen without running wires across the room?

what you could do is get a wireless kb and mouse...that way no wires would be across the room, only from your MBP to the TV

Its not impossible, but impractical. If it was impossible, we'd not have a little invention called TV. Just the amount of information, bandwidth and complexity of what needs to happen when means it will be an expensive solution in search of a problem.

Well, it's not impossible, but the solution the op wants is not commercially available.

Well, they did introduce some wireless TVs last week at CES, though I don't remember what components they hooked up. So it's not entirely out of the realm of possibility that we'll have wireless monitors in the next few years. But right now, not possible.

I have been asked by several people if this is possible. There are a lot of big flat screen TVs hanging off of walls, there is a whole generation of kids with laptops giggling at MySpace and YooToob. Sounds like a product waiting to be created!
