Hello,
I bought my Macbook Pro in July (07) and was impressed with it for the most part, like the battery life (4 hours) and the resolution was great. However, as time went on (a week or two) I noticed a considerable amount of light leakage at the bottom of the screen and some backlight issues 1/3 right of the screen.
I left it, thinking I was just being picky, but then this morning, I got up, unplugged my fully charged computer and began to check some emails and talk to some people on Adium. Normally, I get about 4 hours worth of battery life when doing these minimal activities (Friday/January 18 night being a prime example when the computer lasted about 4 hours), but instead, my battery was at 94% with 52 minutes left until it was dead.
I am going to make an appointment for next weekend, I have Apple Care (and I am within the first year of purchase) should I mention the problems with the screen, will they even care? The light leak is rather obvious, and the uneven lighting is annoying.
The battery is a big disappointment too.
Help?
