I migrated a bunch of apps from my G5 to my MBP on installation day. Now I don't know what came with it and what I sucked over from the old box.
Does anyone know where there might be a list of software that came already installed on the MacBook Pro?

Maybe on the package of discs that came with the MBP? I have that sort of thing for my iMac-it came with a little box with two discs in it, and a little booklet that lists things like OS X features and what apps came preinstalled.

BTW: I would have looked, but I'm on the road until the end of February and I don't have my disks, box or books with me.

My Core Duo (not C2D) MBP came with iLife '06, the MS Office test drive, and I think that's about it, plus of course stuff like QuickTime 7, iChat, iTunes, Mail, Safari, and Automater... I hope that's helpful.
In looking into this, I find that it ain't as straightforward as I had assumed when I first posted. I didn't mean to come off as harsh, but I had thought that it was something that was very obvious from just the packaging. I was wrong-it's not "obvious." And the discs that come with the machine don't exactly have really illuminating labels, either.

Thanks for being so honest about that. I appreciate it. (and no offense taken ... you didn't know my situation because I didn't make it clear.)
I've got a few apps on here like "Art Directors Toolkit" which I suspect came over from my G5. I have no idea what it is. Another app called "Graphics Converter" which I think has it's best days in years past ... iMovie HD (Previous version) ... OmniGraffle, QuickBooks, Quicken 2005, Omni Outliner ... do any of these look like they belong?

Yeah, all those things came from your G5.
