Hi,

Yesterday I reinstalled Leopard (archive and install) because I was experiencing a problem where almost every application would not open. The fresh install fixed it, and I applied all the recent updates, Mac OS 10.5.2, Leopard Graphics Update etc. Today, I shut down my MacBook to go to campus. When I tried to boot it at campus, it never got passed the grey startup screen. Booting into windows and booting using the Leopard DVD worked. So, I reinstalled the system software for the second time in two days. I am scared to install any updates now because I assume they must have been the cause of the problems. I can find three crash logs for the times I tried to boot the computer, one created by 'DirectoryService', one created by 'securityd', and one created by 'ReportCrash'. Here is one of them, could anyone explain what it means?
