There are now updated, higher specification MacBooks as Apple's basic laptops. They are advertised at the same price (in the UK) as the old versions, Where are all the old MacBooks? I am part of a voluntary organisation with little funding and would be interested to know if the now outdated MacBooks are available somewhere.

I can't really answer that question because I'm not in the UK. Local resellers should have inventory left. Or you can check the close-out specials on Apple UK's online store.

try checking online at Amazon or resellers. I'm sure that someone on ebay would be selling off a lot of them.

Thank you Big Mac & hemisten. Maybe not surprisingly there are not many / any NEW older versions on eBay yet.

if you are trying to save money, look into purchasing refurbished macbooks
