My adapter plug into the CPU got banged up pretty bad, so I can't recharge my iBook 14" 1.33 ghz anymore. I was looking through craigslist for an used one, and someone proposed me the model M8482 which has 45W, 24V and 1.2A. It's those same three factors as the usual iBook one.

However, is there any possible compatibility problem? I'm not really good with that kind of stuff, and Apple isn't selling it anymore so I can't have any info, and on Google I can't find anything except for an occasional nod.

Thanks for your time, I appreciate it

Of course Apple is still selling this:

The Apple Store (U.S.) - Extra Portable Power Adapter - 65W (for iBook & PowerBook)

But the 45W adapter you mention should work fine.
