Hello everyone, i have aquired an ibook g3 dual usb ibook. Over the last few months, it has been operating ok(except for the logic board problem which requires the pat down on the back to get the screen to stop flashing). It has recently just crashed (don't know why). Everytime i boot it it displays the classic flashing finder symbol and question mark. Now the problem is, everytime i try to reinstall an os(i have tried os 9, os x10.1, and os x10.3) A circle with a slash through it appears when i try to start up from the os cd. PLEASE HELP!

Are you holding the "c" key when you try to boot off of the install disks?
