My MacBook is less than two months old… I just ran DiskWarrior which detected six “File: Localized.rsrc…Detected that the resource header is damaged and cannot be repaired entries.

They are located within various directories on my HD…i.e., MS Office2008. Stuffit11 and Messenger.

There is also a message about “File com.apple.iphotomosaic.plist…detected that Property List data is damaged and cannot be repaired.

Can anyone explain what this means and offer any suggestions on how to correct this?

Thank !

I can't tell you exactly what that particular error means, but here is what I would do:
Get a hold of Disk Warrior tech support,
281-353-1510
tech.support@alsoft.com
While you are waiting, do a backup! I suspect you are going to have to reformat and start over, but I can't image what would have happened to such a new drive.

Damaged headers are generally a result of a faulty hard drive, but sometimes due to faulty RAM as well. It's a slow process, more and more errors will appear as the problem gets worse.

I agree with Sherman, make a backup ASAP!
