Well I ordered my 2.2 whitebook this morning, ... and allowing my anticipation bubble was slightly deflated when i saw that the macbook would not be shipping for 3-5 days.
in my eagerness to play with my new toy, i went back to the refurb store this afternoon and saw that they're shipping within 24 hours again now.
does anyone know if apple is good about getting things out in current time or in the promised time...

Nevermind. My question worked itself out when the macbook shipped late in the afternoon... so not 3-5 days. : )

Oh, I think it's a valid thread.

When I ordered my BlackBook through them two weeks ago, they said 3-5 days to ship, and it was shipped the same night that I placed the order. Don't necessarily take them at their word - I think they're just trying to cover their backsides just in case something serious happens - like they don't have the necessary logic board or something.

same for me when I ordered a refurb ipod.

I swear I hate it that everyone else in the world is starting to use the refurb store first. Damnit people I have stuff I want to buy.... and not you~!!!! :::stamps feet::::

I command you guys to stop clearing out the ipods and iphones when I'm looking!!
