Could you possibly have made that story any less interesting to read?

back when I had an iBook G3, I felt like slamming it on the wall all the time, it crashed, froze, broke down... I'm sure the G4 iBooks weren't as bad, but very similar

I had a tricked out clamshell. That thing was near-invulnerable.

I think if you post a message like this, you need to be prepared for responses like that one...

I recommend using a desktop instead. You can kick them when you're p*ssed off - less damage that throwing.

I have to say, I'm more than a little bit surprised that no one has asked what the resulting damage to the machine is.

Actually no.
This system had been more or less satisfactory.

Well you obviously weren't doing it for testing purposes. It sounds like you were frustrated. But why should any of us care what the damage is to your computer? You are not asking for help on how to fix it or coming to us with a problem concerning the logic board. Once and a while I see videos on YouTube that show kids destorying their iBooks, iMacs, and other Apple products because their parents have the money. This could be you. However, without knowing for certain what is wrong with you I think the mods should close this thread. It's pointless.

No one asked because you set-up a thread in an attempt to get people to ask questions you could have just answered by telling the entire story in the first post (thereby giving this thread some kind of passable purpose).

Can I throw this thread across the room?

It's an iBook G4. I never assumed it would have taken any damage.

Let's move this to the political lounge. It will grow longer that way and you can get the help you need.

There's nothing constructive happening in here, this thread was just created to draw attention.
