Yesterday my uncle came around and gave me his dead ibook G4 12"1.2Ghz to see if I can do something with it as he already has a new one.
I found out very fast that the problem was the logic board, so I started my PC and just googled all night.
Finally I found a site with something that looks like a solution:
Logic board fix

After I did what was told overther, I started the Ibook and the screen lighted up, but nothing more.HD was pinning but no Apple logo.
I inserted the OS cd and pressed C but still nothing on screen.

So i decided to start over again.
Well,I think that was not the best idea, because screen doesnt light up anymore

Therefore i'm looking now for a working logic board.
I found one, problem is that it is a different partnumber.
My Ibook has p/n: 820-1646-A , and the board I saw has: 661-3415

The seller has a picture of the board online, and as far as I can see it looks the same as mine.

Now I wonder if I will get any problem if I installed this other partnumber in my Ibook.
CPU is the same, and it comes out of a 12"Ibook G4. Only different I can find is the partnumber.

Hope that someone can help me with more information.
