I've have a problem because a minijack is stuck within my audioport on my MacBook with leopard OS. As a result I can't activate the speakes on the computer and hence can't get any sound out of the computer. Do some of you have an idea to how I can deactivate the audioport on the MacBook.
Thanks in advance.
Best regards
Peter

I don't think you can change the output since the headphone port now says there's headphones plugged in.
Ideally, you need to try and get that jack out. You could try some superglue on the end of a cocktail stick and try sticking it to the end of the jack and pulling it out.
Go into system preferences, Sound, and choose a different output method. The computer may override you and go back to the minijack, but it's worth a shot.
