I'm looking to upgrade my MacBook's 60GB drive with a WD 320GB, but have never dealt with drives before and need to confirm that this product is compatible with my Macbook. Any advice on what I should be weary of during this upgrade would be appreciated as well... I am computer savvy, and have disassembled my MacBook on two different occasions (yes, warranty is shot...I know) , but have just never dealt specifically with drives before.

I've created a new thread for you so your question doesn't get lost.

The link you've provided is to the Passport drive, which is an external USB drive. In other threads, I and others have discussed taking the drive out of this case and using it in their MBs and MBPs (it is compatible). If you don't know what you're doing, buy a bare 2.5" SATA drive from a place like Newegg (http://www.newegg.com). Any 2.5" SATA drive is compatible. Replacing the drive is described in your user manual since it is a user-replaceable part on the MBs.

Buying a drive in an enclosure is more expensive than a bare drive and an enclosure, and taking apart the preassembled drive voids the warranty on both parts.

320GB 5400RPM WD for $110 or 7200RPM for $140.
