Hi,

Was wondering if anyone can tell me if when I turn off my Airport and Bluetooth if they're truly off or are they still being powered and emitting a signal.

I'm thinking about EMF radiation ... just thought if I'm not using them, why have them on.

They're off. It saves power, so they are completely off.

In general, if you're at any practical distance from your laptop, you're getting more electromagnetic radiation from the florescent lights around you than from either the WiFi or Bluetooth systems in the computer. You get a lot more EM exposure in an afternoon at the beach than an afternoon surfing using a Bluetooth mouse. Seriously, both systems are designed to basically "blend in" to the background RF noise, so you really don't get any noticeable/measurable exposure from them.
